GLATIS-Projekt, Mai 2000. Aufbau der Station DY2: Zur Ankopplung an den Untergrund wird das Seismometer etwa zwei Meter tief vergraben. Die horizontale Ausrichtung wird durch das Unterlegen der Spanholzplatte gewährleistet. Anschließend wird das Loch zum Schutz gegen Wind und Temperaturschwankungen wieder mit Schnee gefüllt.

GLATIS project in Mai 2000. Set up of station DY2: For coupling of the instrument to the ground the seismometer is buried down to ca. 2 metres. The horizontal position is achieved by laying some plywood underneath the instrument. Afterwards the hole is replenished with snow for protection against wind or temperature variations.
