Allein die Öldepots zeugen von einer gewissen Zivilisation in dieser Mondlandschaft. Die Gegend liegt unweit von Kangerlussuaq auf dem Weg zum Hafen an der mit ca. 21 km immerhin längsten befestigten Straße Grönlands - zumindest damals im Mai 2000.

Only the huge oil tanks attest to some kind of civilisation within this moonscape. The area is in the vicinity of Kangerlussuaq on the way to the harbour, which is, after all, connected with the city by the longest road (with a length of approx. 21 km) of Greenland - at least it was in May 2000.
