Die "Cliffs of Moher" im County Clare sind ein unbedingtes Muss für jeden Irland-Besucher. Die fast 200 m hohen, senkrecht abfallenden Steilwände sind nichts für Höhenängstliche. Die beliebte Sandsteinplatte, auf der die Touristen in die Tiefe blicken, ist mittlerweile wegen Absturzgefahr gesperrt. Aufgenommen im Sommer 1993.

The "Cliffs of Moher" in the county Clare are an absolute must-see for every visitor to Ireland. The nearly vertical steep faces are about 200 metres high - nothing for people beeing afflicted with acrophobia! The favoured viewpoint shown on the picture is a rather thin layer of sandstone, which is meanwhile closed for tourists. The foto was shot in summer 1993.
