GLATIS-Projekt, Mai 2000. Eine Hercules der New York Air Guard nahm uns freundlicherweise mit zum ersten Standort Camp Raven. An dieser verlassenen US-Militärradarstation wird neben Bombenabwurfübungen gelegentlich auch ein Überlebenstraining absolviert.

GLATIS project in May 2000. A Hercules of the New York Air Guard kindly took us to our first ice-location near Camp Raven. This is an abandoned radar station with an old airstrip of the U.S. military which today is used as a bombing testsite. From time to time also survival training in the ice is accomplished in this area.
